Cracking the 1 Million Mark on Alexa

AlexaWe’ve been surprised to see how quickly our site has grown in such a short period of time. From non existent to near the 1 million rank on Alexa. It may not seem like much of achievement to you, but for us we’re very excited and thrilled to have discovered such a wonderful audience of regular readers!

    Well, our rank on Alexa just bounced back to 1.8 million. Easy come, easy go..

    Woo hoo! We’re now reported as 777K rank worldwide.

    251K for Canada and 92K for Australia!

    Our three month average is now just over 500K and our weekly is hovering around 270K.

    Well here’s another update since we’ve jumped again on Alexa. Now we’re coming in at 177K on our 1 week average.

    We now have more readers than the Rick Mercer Report who is currently ranked at about 650K on Alexa.

    Alexa Rank Diary Update:

    Wow we’ve bounced back from a low in the 160K to now over 410K which is higher than our 3 month average of 390K.

    Surprisingly our traffic has been quite steady. Obviously bit more of an art than science measuring these things.

    Record day on Alexa breaking the 100K mark with a rank of 89K. Now they show our insignificant traffic! Woo hoo! Perhaps our burst of a few hundred BNR (Nortel) hits this week helped pop us on the charts.
