MyCarpoolStation: Puts you in the driver’s seat

There’s lots of fun web apps out there. There’s lots of marginally useful ones too. Despite having to type WAY too many letters MyCarpoolStation is a totally cool app. You might have seen them at Montreal BarCamp2. Yes, it arranges carpool schedules – but more importantly it links you up with people you know. Would you get into a stranger’s car… probably not. If you would – you might want to rent the original DVD Rutger Hauer version of “The Hitcher“! LinkedIn meets Car Pooling. This concept might even work for finding babysitters!
