Netscape 9 leads the SM TOP 10 bad product sequels
1. Netscape 9 – big new feature includes a combined “stop / refresh” button. Woohoo! (like dudes – Safari has been doing that since forever.) Netscape has also taken out a lot of trashy features to slim down the browser.
2. Apple has announced the Newton II – slightly bigger and heavier than the original, it comes packed with tons of off-line utilities!
3. Microsoft is planning Vista – the millenium edition.
4. Also from Microsoft – MS Bob, the Zune edition!
5. From IBM and Lenovo – the soon to be released ThinkPad PC JR.
6. Jonathan Abrams, creator of Friendster is announcing the beta launch of Enemyster.
7. German electronics company Grunding is adding MP3 compatibility to its line of 8-track players: download music from your computer via the convenient RS232 cable!
8. Sony is introducing HDTV to its popular video cassette format. Dubbed “Blu-Beta”, the standard is not compatible with other manufacters. Meanwhile, JVC has abandonned its efforts to market its “Blu-VHS” products.
