The Joy of Design: iotum’s new Talk-Now UI

iotumnewui.jpgAs iotum CEO Alec Saunders wrote – I dropped by a few weeks ago to chat with his team to bounce around ideas regarding the Talk-Now UI. It was a great discussion – and I left very impressed by the energy of the dev team – and their dedication to product quality. One of their challenges was to create a fresh, exciting UI that met accessibility regulations, and simplified ease of use. This is one of the screenshots showing the new UI. The UI certainly brings Talk-Now to a new level of usability. It even gives it an identifiable personality! Congratulations iotum!

You call that a UI? Sorry but that looks like crap to me.

In another article I read about the iPhone being a disruptive technology – it looks like that extends to the UX world too.

For a small company – it’s a significant leap, especially for their business users. I agree they can go a lot further to reach typical Pearl BB UIs of late.
