July 19th, 2007 by Mitch Brisebois

jawbone.JPGLife is rosy for San Francisco-based startup Aliph. They’re a company that has been struggling to develop a successful noise cancelling headset. Finally they’ve got the Jawbone blue tooth headset. It’s striking industrial design is matched with the best noise cancellation technology according to CNET. Yesterday, Om Malik wrote about them. They also just closed a $5million VC round with Khosla Ventures. To round things off, Apple has selected them as the premiere accessory for the iPhone. These jewels retail for $120 USD. The Jawbone has been so successful that Aliph doesn’t even have it’s own site anymore – it just redirects to jawbone.com!
