A virtual finger for virtual gifts
OK – so I’m not sure why virtual gifts are all the rage. Especially Facebook’s gifts which will cost you a non-virtual buck! Now even Plenty Of Fish has virtual gifts – but they’re free – based on points for loging in. A Facebook app that offers free gifts has nearly 5 million users signed up!
So what would LinkedIn’s gifts look like…
1. 500 points – insider tip
2. 1000 points – non-compete payout
3. 5000 points – VC term sheet
4. 10000 points – hostile takeover
5. 50000 points – IPO!
