Tesla Motors Full UX Throttle
Tesla Motors will soon be releasing the Tesla Roadster (fall 2007). It’s an incredible work of art and engineering. Who wouldn’t fall in love with such a sexy car? I know, we’ve all been embarrassed to say things like that out loud lately. But here’s the catch, it’s all electric.

The car is a modern day marvel and the Tesla Motors’ website matches the attitude of this Silicon Valley startup. Last week we were reviewing the customer experience on popular car sites and to our disappointment none of those sites worked without Flash.
However, the Tesla Motors website works great even on an iPhone! The website is very well thought out and this gives you an instant feel about the team that is behind the product. With the inclusion of a blog there’s a sense that you know the people responsible for pushing these technologies forward. Be sure to check out the ‘Magic of Regenerative Braking‘. Unlike other car sites, you won’t be hunting down to the bottom of a spec sheet to find mileage rates. No, it’s front and center: “Zero Emissions Equals Zero Guilt”.
I’m also impressed by the fact that the company is named after such a great inventor, Nikola Tesla, the father of AC.
