Most paper bills are in circulation for 6 months and pass through hundreds of hands. Did you ever get a note back with a scribble on it from a previous owner? The premise of De-Noted is to capture interesting messages scrawled on money. It’s viral, you just won’t know where it goes. The only hitch is the introduction of polymer banknotes in many countries which might cause an end to currency commentaries, although maybe a good Sharpie will still work…
