Zack & Miri Make a Startup
A few hours ago, SM friend Ian Graham pinged me saying he had screening passes to Kevin Smith’s new movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno. All you had to do was visit Ian’s Code Factory in Ottawa to pick up the passes. Alas, they were gone in no time!
I’m a big Kevin Smith fan myself, so I’m looking forward to this movie. The entrepreneur theme of the movie is fitting to the Code Factory. Ian’s factory is a dream for local startups here in Ottawa – a working / networking / learning / meeting / playing place in the heart of the city!
So what’s an entrepreneur? Here’s Wikipedia’s take:
An entrepreneur is a person who has possession over a company, enterprise, or venture, and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and the outcome.
