The Power of Negative Thinking: I Hate Perfume perfume

Here’s a Brooklyn-based perfume company selling a line of scents named “I Hate Perfume”. Created by olfactory artist Christopher Brosius (CB), the tiny lab bottles feature a wide range of natural environmental fragrances. I’m not a big fan of perfume, but some of these intrigue me.
Some of the inspirations: CB’s grandfather (greenbriar 1968); Russian leather-bound library books (In the Library); The smoke of burning maple leaves (Burning Leaves)…
My favourite, Mr. Hulot’s Holiday (the best French film ever made)
The salty breath of the breeze off the Mediterranean, driftwood, rocks covered with seaweed and the smell of old leather suitcases
CB’s reverse marketing is brilliant. Sort of like anti-perfume. Or, perfume for the rest of us. Or Prada-da-da (What you will and what you wont)…
Maybe this can work for other industries…
I Hate Beer

ok, maybe not.
