David Lynch has long understood the potential of the web for media and storytelling. In his latest Interview Project, he has assembled a team headed by son Austin to travel the US and collect remarkable stories from seemingly unremarkable people. 121 short episodes have been recorded. The first one, “Jess” debuted this week. It’s an interview with an older man looking for peace and hoping to find it in the desert near Needles, California.
