Mitch Brisebois is the director of customer experience at LPI… Recently, he managed TrueContext’s Human Factors Lab - ensuring optimal web + mobile user experiences. The lab is involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle including research, requirements, design and usability assessments. Previously, he managed the UX group at Provance Technologies - ensuring ITIL-based mission-critical asset management solutions for large enterprises such as Lockheed-Martin and Canada Post.To date, Mitch holds 17 U.S. patents for software and usability innovations. His product domain expertise includes voice over IP (VOIP), wireless, e-commerce, telecom and IT infrastructure applications, including IT service desk and asset management. He spent 12 years at Nortel Networks designing UIs for telecom products and received three Nortel excellence awards and recognition for numerous product innovations. He was the co-inventor of the Vista 350 telephone. The MIT Sloan School of Management and Carleton University School of Industrial Design have recognized his work in a number of their published case studies. Recently, he was the co-founder and CEO of anbiun - a Nortel venture developing tools for dynamically optimizing the e-commerce experience.Mitch has published several usability guidelines for the software license management industry and regularly reviews new software for the International Business Software Managers Association (IBSMA). Mitch enjoys sharing his knowledge with others as a seasonal lecturer for the Carleton University School of Industrial Design covering topics such as software usability and intellectual property. He can often be found at various BarCamp events speaking on a range of UX-related topics.

Jobe Roberts is an Application Designer with over ten years of professional experience in the Information Technology Industry. He is experienced in bringing user centered design solutions to a diverse range of products within the Internet domain. His skills include product visualization and design through advanced prototyping techniques, communicating design intent to broad audiences.Currently Jobe is an application designer at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans where he builds web applications and database interfaces. He is involved in design, development, support and training for the products that he creates.Jobe holds 8 US patents from his work as Inventor at Nortel. Jobe worked at Nortel’s Corporate Design Group (CDG) and was also the co-founder and CTO of anbiun - a Nortel venture re-inventing e-commerce user interaction.Beyond technology, Jobe is also an accomplished artist and photographer - his latest exhibit held at the Gallery Cachée in Wakefield Quebec.
